The Reasons

Some ten years ago I was working at an Internet company and ran across an article on cnbc about a small town in Mexico called San Miguel de Allende. I instantly fell in love with the idea of going and discovering this seemingly enchanted place for myself someday. Fast forward some years and I met a guy by the name of Clayton Scott. We soon discovered that we both shared a love of words and their ability to move people. A keen friendship was born that has endured until this day despite and age gap of some 25 plus years. Last year I helped produce and direct a play that Clayton had written back in Fayetteville, AR. During this time we decided that we should write something together. But what to write and where to do it at was still a vague question. This is when the pieces for San Miguel began to fall into place. Finally the timing was right and the endeavor was just the right vehicle to make dream, reality. It is with this idea that we set out on our adventure. Just two guys in a foreign land, an idea for a story and the requisite belief to make it come true. Welcome to our journey, it should be a good ride.
